Most of the nights in the rainforest were spent camping on the shores of the river while on some evenings the tents were pitched inside the forest. The beach provided a soft sleeping area and a close proximity to the river bath tub, but suffered from large masses of mosquitos.

A quick dip in the river is a nice break from the heat of the tropical sun. Just remember to keep clear of the caiman and ignore the passing piranha.
